While asking a spate of race-related questions, Fox News contributor Juan Williams (or his questioning) was booed by the audience during Monday's Fox News-Wall Street Journal Republican presidential debate.
Newt Gingrich has been known to refer to President Barack Obama as the "food stamp president." Williams suggested that such a label might sound “as if you are seeking to belittle people.” That's when the audience booed.
The Huffington Post asked Williams if the jeering bothered him. "No," he said, "but the intensity of the exchange pumped up my adrenaline. The questions are important and I was in the moment."
