Fox News' Eric Bolling to Rep. Maxine Waters: 'Step away from the crack pipe
February 17, 2012
After Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) called House Republican leadership "demons" on Wednesday, Fox News' Eric Bolling had something to say.
"Congresswoman, you saw what happened to Whitney Houston. Step away from the crack pipe," he said Thursday morning on "Fox and Friends."
The first thing most people would do after hearing this is gasp (that's what "Fox and Friends" co-host Steve Doocy did). Then probably laugh, because it's kind of funny. The Huffington Post called it racist.
"Bolling has gotten himself in hot water for racially charged comments before," the site said about his comments.
Is it racial because Houston and Waters were/are both black women with similar hair? Is it racial because Houston really did do crack? Is it racist because HuffPost finds crack to be a generally "black" drug? Odd.
Watch anyway:
