Ann Coulter on candidates who make money by running for prez

Speaking at an event in Florida on Monday author Ann Coulter said she'd support one pledge for all Republican presidential candidates: "I want them to sign a pledge saying, ‘If I lose the nomination I pledge I will not take a gig with Fox News or write a book.’”

She said candidates profiting off failed bids for public office is a phenomenon unique to the Republican party.

She didn't name names. But I will: Donald Trump, Herman Cain and to a large extent, Sarah Palin. All of them made money off failed runs or pretend-runs for president. I'll leave out Mike Huckabee because even though he does now have a lucrative career as a Fox News host, his bid for president in 2008 was genuine.
