Who knew Elizabeth Warren could run this fast from reporters?

After a campaign event in Massachusetts last Saturday, senatorial candidate Elizabeth Warren decided that she really, really, really, really didn’t want to talk to Boston Herald reporters -- so she got out of there as fast as she could.

Earlier at that same event, Warren's handlers also reportedly slammed stairwell doors on the same Herald reporters.

What’s the deal? Why so camera shy all of a sudden?

Oh, that’s right: the Boston Herald has played a key role in shedding light on Warren’s paper-thin claims of Cherokee heritage.

Although she has held fast to her claim that she is 1/32 Native American, maybe she has just gotten tired of deflecting questions about her ancestry with “talking points about her campaign and its emphasis on middle-class families,” as the Herald puts it.

Stand tall Warren! Your campaign will rise again!
