A couple from the Midwest was set to take their relationship to new heights. The marriage proposal that occurred over Sellersburg, Ind., in a hot air balloon was electrifying -- literally.
The hot air balloon collided with a power line, rendering the pilot of the balloon unconscious, according to CNN. The Lousville, Ky., pilot Dallas Beall, who owns the balloon, was trying to land the flying basket when he hit the lines. According to CNN, the bride-to-be was shocked as well when Beall fell on her. The unidentified groom-to-be performed CPR on Beall and all three were later taken to the hospital.
CNN reports Major Chuck Adams with the Clark County, Indiana Sheriff's office noting that the bride did say "I do" when the basket touched the ground.
Adams said the burns suffered by those in the basket were not life threatening.
