Cheyenne Jackson, a prominent star on Broadway, said he was left speechless after receiving some cordial words from President Barack Obama. The compliment came after Jackson performed for Obama at a fundraiser last week.
“I can usually talk to anybody, and I was like . . . ,” [Jackson said,] exhibiting his star-struck silence. “He [Obama] said, ‘You look like a movie star.’ I said, ‘I’ll take it, President Obama.’ It was cool.”
"You look like a movie star"? That's it?!
Thank God MSNBC's Chris Matthews isn't so easily thrilled by Obama's words. Imagine the mess to clean up.
