Fearing for My Life': Shock Vid Shows NYC Teacher Bashing Student Against a Table & Onto the Ground

"I didn’t have time to think."

A parent is in shock after seeing video showing the security dean at the George Westinghouse Career and Technical Education High School literally throwing her son to the ground and slamming him against a table. The student, Kristoff John, is a 15-year-old freshman at the school where the incident between him and faculty member Stephan Hudson took place on March 6.

Originally, Diane John thought her son was lying about having not done anything wrong when she first learned that he fought with a teacher at the school. But her views on the situation quickly changed once The New York Daily News contacted her with a shocking video showing the incident from start to finish.

Here's how the Daily News describes the clip that brought a surprised and horrified response from the originally-doubting mother:

The exclusive video obtained by the paper shows the scrawny freshman taking a severe beating from a much larger teacher at the George Westinghouse Career and Technical Education High School in Brooklyn.

The video shows shop teacher and security dean Stephan Hudson grabbing the boy by his arm, throwing him to the ground and bashing him twice against a table.

At the end of the fight, the boy is apprehended by school cops.

According to John, the school told her that there was a "little incident" between her son and a teacher. Initially, she was told that officials were being generous in not punishing the boy, but after seeing the video, she's demanding answers.

"They lied to me!," she told the Daily News. "No one wants to see their son taken advantage of and beaten like this."

As a result of the incident, Kristoff said his back was sore and that he couldn't talk properly for days. The teen also claims that he "was fearing for my life" and that he was surprised the teacher hit him.

"I didn’t have time to think," he said.

The spat started when the boy, who was late for class, attempted to push through the school's entrance when his identification card failed to work properly. Hudson allegedly grabbed his arm, the boy pulled away and then Kristoff was apparently thrown to the ground and a scuffle ensued.

While her son has now left the school and returned to his native Grenada, the mother wants district officials -- and police -- to further investigate the incident (read the full details here).
