BlackBerry users 'not statistically relevant' in determining how smartphone users will vote
July 10, 2012
It's a sad day in BlackBerry hell. The brand is in the dumps and now the device and the poor suckers who use them don't even factor into a fun, simple survey that breaks down how smartphone users plan to vote in November.
[A] publicist for the survey said, “BlackBerrys were in fact considered in the survey but given very few respondents reported being a BlackBerry user, their numbers were not statistically relevant. Of those considering themselves smartphone owners, only 9 percent reported being BlackBerry users.”
The Harris Interactive survey found 49 percent of iPhone/Android users said they're going to vote for President Barack Obama. Support for Mitt Romney was significantly lower at 31 percent.
