The U.S. Olympic uniforms make our athletes look like private school poindexters. They hardly represent the average American. I have to believe there's some kind of happy medium to be found between Ralph Lauren's flight attendant flair and your complaints about Crocs. (I agree -- unless gardening has suddenly become an Olympic sport, Crocs should NOT be allowed.)
But come on -- berets?
Unless the beret is green, an American shouldn't be wearing it.
Having the uniforms made in China is sadly more representative of the average American wardrobe than berets.
