Biden on the Wealthy: 'Nothing's Been Asked Of Them

Is it a gaffe or just good ol' fashioned campaign rhetoric? No one really knows anymore.

Joe Biden, speaking to an audience of around 1,500 in Minneapolis Minnesota yesterday made an odd comment on what he describes as the patriotic wealthy.

"Now I come from a wealthy little state.   I found that wealthy people and very wealthy people are just as patriotic as poor people. But nothing's been asked of them.  And they haven't asked for" the Bush tax cuts.

Biden is from the state of Delaware, where the unemployment rate is nearly 7%.  The Obama Administration is currently trying to raise taxes on families making over $250,000.
