In his third fundraising message of the week, President Obama looked for sympathy from donors, noting that come Nov. 6, he could be looking at "another four years in the White House - or the end of this opportunity."
Gulp.
The president asked for contributions of $5 or more, explaining “we’re getting outspent by wide margins in critical battleground states — and what we do about that today could be the difference between winning and losing on November 6th.”
Earlier this week, an email message from First Lady Michelle Obama included a similar note from the president: “What I will not abide is getting outspent by a margin that negates all the hard work our volunteers are doing — talking to voters, knocking on doors, making calls."
