A conference call with President Obama was held today for the 65,000 supporters who were told they'll no longer be able to attend his convention speech tonight. “My main message is: We can’t let a little thunder and lightning get us down," Obama said on the call. "We’re going to have to roll with it."
Obama was to deliver his remarks at the Bank of America stadium but citing weather concerns yesterday, organizers changed the location to the smaller Time Warner Cable arena.
The President will speak in the 10 p.m. hour, at which point he will officially accept the Democratic nomination for reelection.
