Russian President Vladimir Putin is not camera shy. His latest excursion that will give the P.R. team an opportunity for exotic photos comes next week when he will travel to the Yamal region to join scientists to release a small group of the endangered creatures, and guide them on the first leg of their winter migration route toward Central Asia.

"The president will get to try himself in the role of the leader of a flock of cranes that were raised in captivity," The Telegraph reports the Vedomosti newspaper described the upcoming stunt.
