All Democrats We Talked With at The DNC Are Better Off Now Than They Were Four Years Ago: 'Oh Hell Yes!
September 10, 2012
"Definitely"
TheBlaze's Tiffany Gabbay contributed to this report:
Since the economy happens to be a critical issue this election, TheBlaze hit the DNC convention floor to ask the simple question: Are you better off than you were four years ago?
Despite chronic unemployment, stagnant hiring and crippling debt the DNC delegates remained positive. In over two dozen diverse interviews, not one person admitted to being worse off.
We followed up by asking the delegate why he or she thinks they were better off. Their answers almost unquestionably landed on one of three niche issues of the president's: Obamacare, marriage equality and the stimulus.
So while the unemployment rate has risen since Bush left office, the labor force participation rate has sunk to 64.3% — the lowest since Carter -- and the US economy has seen it's first credit downgrade in its 236 year history, it is good to know that some people have a positive outlook on situation.
