The Towers, the Tragedy, and the Triumph: Relive the Post-9/11 World in TheBlaze's Moving Tribute Video

From the attacks to the homecomings, we remember.

On any day of remembrance it is fitting to reflect on where you have been and to meditate on where you are going.  The footage in our original tribute  video below transcends the moments of gripping tragedy, affirming the triumph and the resolute patriotism over the last eleven years.

Such encompassing events are not unique in the history of the American experience.  Our country has born immense strife and tragedy before.  However the taste, feel and grit of September 11th and the events after it are unique in the sense that they occurred in a new video age where they are able to be relived again and again -- relived in a way that Bunker Hill, Gettysburg and Pearl Harbor cannot be.

The full orchestra of events experienced over the last 11 years are both exhausting and exhilarating to witness again. But they should never gather the cobwebs history, lest we forget.

"It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."
