"That ad you've seen that says, 'President Clinton...'"
Vice President Joe Biden made one of his characteristic slip-ups Sunday while campaigning in Ohio, when he described Mitt Romney's "Jeep ad" as accusing "President Clinton" of taking Detroit bankrupt.
"That ad you've seen that says, 'President Clinton bankrupted Chrysler so that Italians could buy it to ship jobs overseas to China...'" Biden said in a 14-second clip that quickly circulated Sunday.
This Freudian slip and its attendant nostalgia for the 90s will no doubt strike Republicans as more evidence of the vice president's capacity to provide quality entertainment.
