Wasserman Schultz Mocks Republican Caucus For Being 'Whiter & More Male' Than Democrats
November 16, 2012
At an early morning speech given to members of the left-leaning Emily's List group on Wednesday, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz derided Republicans in the House of Representatives for having too many white males in their caucus, while praising Democrats for shrinking their white male population.
Schultz began her statement with gender baiting. She declared, "I would love to have a man spend a day in the life of the women in this room and try to get done what we balance together." Then the Chairwoman encouraged more women should run for political office because "when women run democrats win."

"Take a good look when the house convenes," Shultz says. "They [referring to Republicans] got whiter and more male. And we now have a majority minority and female Democratic caucus. First time in history."
The comment was met with enthusiastic applause. Schultz followed it up with: "Pretty amazing."
