We're Going to Need a Bigger Boat: Crazy Photo Captures The Moment a Smaller Shark Is Taken Out by a Bigger Shark
December 30, 2012
A fisherman off the coast of New Zealand this week hooked a great white shark -- only to watch it become bait for a much bigger great white:

“The decent-sized shark was hooked in the waters near Kaiteriteri during a post-Christmas expedition on December 28,” the Daily Mail explains.
However, the fisherman “didn't even have time to haul his catch onto the deck before the smaller shark was in the jaws of the monster predator,” the Mail adds.
As of this writing, it's unclear what happened after the larger great white latched on to the fisherman's catch (although it's probably safe to assume he simply cut his losses and continued on). What we do know, however, is that we won't be swimming off the coast of New Zealand any time soon.
