Bush wasn't so bad after all, huh?

Remember when Democrats lambasted President George W. Bush and his tax cuts which they claim benefit only the rich?  Well if that were actually the case, I'd like to hear President Obama and his fellow Democrats explain this:

President Obama is scheduled to speak at the White House at 1:30 p.m. against a backdrop of middle-class taxpayers whose taxes will go up starting Tuesday if both sides cannot reach at deal by midnight.

Throughout this whole "fiscal cliff" mess, President Obama has cautioned that allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire would actually mean the typical middle class family will have about $2,000 less to spend or save over the next year.  That's a big chunk of change for a group Democrats have tried to victimize as being crushed under the boot of Bush and "the rich."

Democrats should just admit that their attacks on Bush and his tax cuts were, well...
