Sarah Palin pokes back at fake 'Al-JaJizzraa' story

After the parody site The Daily Currant ran a satirical piece about former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's "plans" to sign on as a contributor to Al Jazeera, the Washington Post's Suzi Parker turned the satire into a story. As we reported, the story was later scrubbed from WaPo's website.

“As you all know, I’m not a big fan of newspapers, journalists, news anchors and the liberal media in general,” Palin was quoted as saying in the original report. “But I met with the folks at Al-JaJizzraa (sic) and they told me they reach millions of devoutly religious people who don’t watch CBS or CNN. That tells me they don’t have a liberal bias.”

Yeah, that sounds completely legit.  I can see how Parker was so easily duped.  (Not.)
