California's State Assembly just passed a bill that would let "non-citizens" who are here legally on visas, serve on jury duty. Democratic lawmakers who supported this bill that is the first of its kind say there is no correlation between being a citizen and a juror, and there is no citizenship requirement to be an attorney or a judge.
This comes as illegal immigrants who meet Obama's qualifications under his non-deportation policy can obtain drivers licenses in 45 states.
