The Amazing Moment This 5-Year-Old Girl Realizes That Baseball Catcher Is Actually Her Soldier Dad

Seriously, do military reunion videos ever get old? Of course not.

After throwing the first pitch at a San Antonio Missions minor league game on Sunday, 5-year-old Hailey Sandoval was stunned to find out that the catcher she was throwing to was actually her solider dad. He had recently returned from a six month tour of duty in Afghanistan.

When Hailey first sees her dad, she seemingly freezes in confusion. However, she soon realizes that she isn't dreaming and leaps into her father's arms. The look on her face says it all.

“I’m so emotional right now,” Sandoval said as his daughter wrapped her arms around his neck. “I’m so happy to see my daughter.”
