"There’s a few obvious rules when you’re in charge of the President’s Twitter account, and not following porn accounts is one of them."
Last year, the official Twitter account for President Barack Obama was found to be following a semi-erotic website. Now, it appears that the account was following a full-on porn company.
Although the president doesn't manage his own account -- if a tweet is directly penned by Obama it's signed "-bo" -- but @BarackObama is curated by his Organizing for Action staff.
When it was found in April 2012 that the account was following @CelebritySideboob, Obama's Twitter account followed more than 679,000 accounts. Since then, it appears that the staff has unfollowed many, dropping down to 660,850 followed by the president's account. But one appears to have slipped through proper vetting.

The account @WickedPictures might not have as obvious of a name to red-flag its less than innocent content compared to @CelebritySideboob, but a quick look at its Twitter profile description or a Web search about the company reveal its adult genre.
GeekOSystem pointed out that comedian Pat House took a screenshot showing Obama's Twitter was following the account and confirmed with House that he had taken the image.

Vetting it even further, GeekOSystem checked with DoesFollow.com to see if @BarackObama was really following @WickedPictures. At the time of GeekOSystem's post, it confirmed this was true.

But when TheBlaze checked Monday morning, Obama was no longer following the porn company on Twitter, nor was it following another questionably named adult Twitter account pointed out by GeekOSystem either.

"Seriously though, Organizing for Action, get your act together. There’s a few obvious rules when you’re in charge of the President’s Twitter account, and not following porn accounts is one of them," Glen Tickle wrote for GeekOSystem.
