Al Jazeera 'de facto Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers

And the hits keep coming for Al Jazeera, the Qatar-based news outlet that recently suffered mass staff resignations for its perceived slant in coverage of the unrest in Egypt.

That perception lives on. From Foreign Policy:

"Many of the editors and anchors in Al Jazeera Arabic are de facto Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers," said Fadi Salem, a Dubai-based researcher specializing in Arab media. "This has been reflected in the channel's pro Islamist coverage over the past two years, relying heavily on a combination of incitement, bloody scenes, and Islamic preachers and media commentators."

Relatedly, Al Jazeera America launches in August, some time around the 20th. (There's no official launch date.)
