Watch the Errant Golf Shot at Thursday's British Open That Could Cost This Pro $80,000

"And that is an $80,00-bill headed to Denmark..."

It's not unusual to see errant golf shots while watching a golf tournament (see Luke Donald). But it's rare that you ever get as good of look at one as what you're about to see with pro golfer Thomas Bjorn.

On Thursday, while on the first hole at the British Open, Bjorn sent an errant ball directly into one of ESPN's cameras. And as if that wasn't bad enough, commentator Mike Tirico said -- repeatedly -- that it's going to cost the pro $80,000:

Here's how it looked when it aired:

Now, could Tirico be joking? Probably. And it's likely ESPN has insurance for such a thing. But his comment sure puts it into perspective. So to does the tweet and picture of the camera afterwards that ESPN's flagship program "SportsCenter" sent out:

Hopefully he has a good attitude and just realizes he was Bjorn for this.
