Weiner told reporters Thursday he couldn't say exactly how many women he engaged with online during his time in Congress, but that it was "six to 10" -- plus three more after his 2011 resignation.

That's two more post-resignation woman than previously known, after racy new messages with one woman were exposed this week.

Weiner said Thursday he was still "working with people" to get help, though disputed the notion that his X-rated online flirtations constituted an addiction.

"I don't believe that it is. The people that I am working with don't believe that it is," Weiner said.

"The point is that it's behind me," he said. "I have worked through these things."
