I Want Them to Rot in Hell': Devastated Girlfriend of Murdered Australian Student Speaks Out

The girlfriend of slain Australian student Chris Lane spoke out about her boyfriend of four years' death on Monday, saying she hopes the perpetrators of the murder "rot in hell."

"Wether (sic) they get what they deserve here or in hell they will get it back tenfold," Lane's girlfriend, Sarah Harper, said in a exchange of Facebook messages on her profile Monday night.

"It's a very angry yet extremely sad time," she continued. "No one deserves to die that way. Not even the boys involved."

"Don't get me wrong, I want them to rot in Hell, but no one should be blindly taken from the back so unexpectedly and without any reason," she added.

In an interview, she she said she was lucky to have gotten "most of his time" in the final four years of his life.

Those years, she said, were "the most amazing of my life" in an online tribute she posted online following the murder.

"I love you so much babe," she wrote, adding "from 2009 until forever you will always be mine and a very special and protected place in my heart."
