The term "twerking" has made the rounds since singer Miley Cyrus's controversial performance at the opening of MTV's Video Music Awards on Sunday. Becket Adams has been having a ball with it.
But what is it?
Super religious commentator Todd Starneshelps out the uninitiated in a FoxNews.com column:
It was indeed possible that boys and girls across the nation were collectively asking their parents, “Mommy, what is Miley Cyrus doing to that teddy bear?”The answer dear readers, involves something called "twerking." It’s a sexually provocative form of dancing that involves lots of jiggling.
There you have it.
Update: Since the publication of this post, Starnes got in touch with TheBlaze to explain that he's "maybe" more along the lines of "medium-religious" as opposed to "super religious."
