Did Bill Maher Just Compare Mitch McConnell to Bashar al-Assad?

Controversial comedian and talk show host Bill Maher appeared to compare Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad during his HBO show Friday night.

“Scientists must study the correlation between not having a chin and being an a—hole,” said "Real Time" host Maher.

Maher called the segment "Rule of Jaw."

Assad has been accused by the U.S. government of gassing his own people in an attack Damascus suburbs last month.
