Exclusive: Patriotic Rock Band Madison Rising Releases New Single and Video
September 30, 2013
"This is exactly the kind of music that this country needs right now..."
Madison Rising may very well be America's most patriotic band. Intent on making an impact in the music industry and on the nation at large, the group openly promotes "the principles of liberty, independence, smaller government and personal responsibility."
Now, the rock ensemble is preparing for the release of its second album, "American Hero," on Nov. 5. On Tuesday, the new single, "Ready If It Goes There," will be released -- and TheBlaze has the song and music video for you before it's available to the general public.
The footage accompanying the song shows the band's many travels around the United States.
Watch the exclusive video and hear the new song, below:
The "American Hero" album is dedicated to the men and women of America's armed forces as well as police, firefighters and others who so boldly put their lives on the line. Pushing for the progression of "patriotic rock," Madison Rising is certainly unique.
"This is exactly the kind of music that this country needs right now, and I’m incredibly proud of this album and all the work our team has put into it," Richard Mgrdechian, the band's manager and founder, said in a press release announcing the new music.
"American Hero" will include 10 songs, including Madison Rising's unique rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" (a new version of "America the Beautiful" will also be on the album). According to the press release, some of the themes on this new album are Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), liberty and moral decay.

Confronting these issues is obviously intentional, as the band wants to inspire America to get back on track.
"Madison Rising is on a mission to reignite pride is American culture through great rock music, and show people that it can be cool to be patriotic and to actually have some respect for your country and all of the people who have sacrificed so much to get and keep us here," Mgrdechian told TheBlaze.
"The goal for the new album is to take everything to a whole new level with both our core audience, as well as to a much broader mainstream audience, but without comprising our beliefs and mission in any way," he added.
