NPR fundraisers more popular than Congress

Democratic polling firm Public Policy Polling has a survey of all the bizarre and arbitrary things more popular than Congress at the moment. Among them, public radio fundraising drives.

Sixty percent of voters prefer public radio fundraisers, such as for NPR, over Congress (25 percent.)

Even Republicans, which almost universally hate public broadcasting, choose public radio fundraising drives (53 percent) over Congress (37 percent).

Other things the survey lists as more popular than Congress: witches, zombies, Wall Street, the DMV and the IRS.

Congress is, however, more popular than singer Miley Cyrus and twerking, according to the survey.
