Glenn Beck's TheBlaze Radio Network announced on Thursday that it will launch TheBlaze Radio Philadephia - a live and localized radio station - on October 28th.
Listeners in the area will be able to listen to TheBlaze Radio Network national stream as the rest of the country hears it, but will also receive local updates like traffic and weather multiple times per hour provided by partnerships with local news and information services.
Joel Cheatwood, president and chief content officer of TheBlaze, commented: "TheBlaze Radio Network has built a strong daily line-up and a loyal following in a short period of time. We are excited to continue our growth by bringing our programming with a local flavor to Philadelphia, which Glenn once called home."

To inaugurate the launch, TheBlaze Radio Network will be taking over WWIQ-FM 106.9 for one week to introduce Philadelphia audiences to the programming.
Doc Thompson and Skip LaCombe will even be broadcasting live from Philadelphia's O'Neals Irish Pub & Restaurant, located at 611 S. 3d St. (You are welcome to stop by and say hello!)
The rest of the daily lineup includes:
6 AM – 9 AM: The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson
9 AM – 12 Noon: The Glenn Beck Radio Program
12 Noon – 2 PM: Pat & Stu
2 PM – 5 PM: Jay Severin
5 PM – 6 PM: Glenn Beck Show on TheBlaze
6 PM – 7 PM: Real News from TheBlaze
Weekend programming also features Buck Sexton, Joe Pags, Chris Salcedo and David Barton.
TheBlaze Radio Network launched in October of 2012 and, at barely a year old, has seen a 124% increase in listenership between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. from January of 2013 to September of 2013 alone.
TheBlaze Radio Philadelphia will also be available on iHeart Radio, and TheBlaze.com/Philly.
