Ed Schultz: GOP 'hoodwinked' mainstream media into criticizing 'Obamacare

MSNBC host Ed Schultz said on his show Wednesday night that Congressional Republicans have "hoodwinked" the mainstream media into criticizing "Obamacare."

"It is clearly stated in the law about what happens to people who are going to lose the junk insurance," Schultz said. "But the Republicans have taken it and hoodwinked some of the people in the mainstream media into believe that this is really a bad deal and what Obama is doing is, well, he's screwing you. Come on, folks. This is about moving America forward."

President Obama has fallen under fire as of late for his signature health care law resulting in the cancellation of many Americans' insurance coverage. Obama said both before and after the law was enacted that anyone satisfied with their existing coverage would keep it.

Proponents of the law argue that Americans who had their policies terminated will benefit in the long run by being able to shop for better, and in some cases cheaper, policies using Obamacare.
