"...I thought I was dead."
When you see the accident a Seattle man was in over the weekend involving a falling tree, you'll likely be surprised he even survived. He did.

Aaron Rice, a 48 year old, came away from this accident with only a broken sternum, fractured back and head injury, according to KING-TV.
But it was a "close call, really close," Rice told the local news station. He saw the massive tree falling while he was driving near the Seattle suburb of Monroe. He had just slammed on the breaks when it hit.

The Ford Mustang, a convertible, offered little protection from the tree.
"I just said I was dead, that's what I thought, I thought I was dead," Rice said.
Rice was trapped in his car until Washington State Patrol and firefighters freed him.
