Joe Scarborough: I may get back into politics

In addition to calling Tea Party Republicans "RINO's" (Republicans in name only) on his MSNBC show Tuesday, Joe Scarborough tells Parade in a new interview that he may some day get back into politics:

Do you ever wish you were back in politics?

“I do. There are a lot of times I wish I were back involved, especially when our party seems to be lacking the kind of leadership it needs on Capitol Hill. But I’ve got a 10-year-old daughter who has said I’m not allowed to run for public office until she graduates from high school [and] I’ve got a co-host who likes her job too much—so I’ve got a lot of people working against me. Speaking of being pragmatic and compromising, I think I may have to work a compromise with them and maybe not wait eight or ten years. Maybe a little earlier than that. We’ll see.”

To be sure, 2016 is too early for Scarborough, a former Republican congressman. "No. Absolutely not," he said on NBC's "Today," when asked Tuesday whether he'd run for president in the next election.
