One person who isn't piling on Oprah Winfrey for suggesting that some of President Obama's opponents are motivated by race: America's No. 1 game show host Donald Trump.
"The fact is I know Oprah very well. She's a fine woman," Trump said Thursday in a Q&A with his Facebook fans. "I consider Oprah a friend. I was on [her] show the last week with my family. It was a great honor for me. And Oprah is something special. She meant nothing by it."
It was in a recent interview with the BBC that Winfrey said, "there’s a level of disrespect for the [president's] office that occurs, and that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he’s African-American."
