What book had Glenn Beck reciting poetry on air?

During a monologue about the innate power within each individual to convert thoughts to productive action, the positive effects of which collectively can help right the ship in America, Glenn Beck mentioned a book he is in the midst of reading that literally had him reciting poetry on air. The title?

Stephen Mansfield’s Mansfield's Book of Manly Men: An Utterly Invigorating Guide to Being Your Most Masculine Self (not to be confused with conservative Harvard Professor Harvey Mansfield’s 2007 release Manliness). The premise of the book according to Mansfield is simple: “I want to identify what a genuine man does—the virtues, the habits, the disciplines, the duties, the actions of true manhood—and then call men to do it.”

Beck said, “I think this is a game-changing book. [A] really, really powerful book.” Further, “It is time to be a man, and stop waiting around for, you know, the icon man to drop out of the sky and show you how to be a better dad...show you how to be a man. Just do it."

Quoting from the book, Glenn recited the following poem by 19th century novelist and poet Josiah Gilbert Holland, titled “Give us Men!:”

Glenn also read the following from a highlighted passage of Mansfield's book: "[The good news is] Any man no matter his appearance or voice, can be a great man, because masculine greatness is about the doing, not about the appearance.”

To this Glenn added his own spin on Mansfield’s message: “Greatness is about the doing. It’s not about the thinking, it’s not about the saying, it’s not about the appearances. It’s not about anything…People will remember you for what you’ve done: good or bad you will be remembered for what you have done. Do something. Do what you were meant to do.”
