A fiery Glenn Beck was incensed over the state of America's military Wednesday while discussing the Fort Hood massacre, the subject of Wednesday's season two premiere of TheBlaze TV's For the Record (8 p.m. ET).
"We have abandoned these people at Fort Hood," Beck said. "We abandoned them. We are turning a blind eye at best."
Beck said very few people know the whole story because "they have these people under such tight gag orders ... they're not allowed to write a book about it. They're not allowed to talk to the press about it. They're not allowed to do anything."
He said For the Record will lay out the case, with documents and interviews, of what really happened -- and it wasn't "workplace violence," as it has been designated by the federal government.

But Beck didn't put all the blame on the administration. He continued to implore members of the military to stand up when they know something is wrong. Back in September, Beck asked if there was anyone brave enough to "put their stars down" on the table and walk away if the Obama administration proceeded with military action in Syria.
"What is wrong with you, members of our military?" Beck said strongly. "All of our armed forces, what is wrong with you?"
"You know this wasn't workplace violence," he continued. "You know those people should be taken care of. You know this government has sold you down the river every step of the way. It's what progressives do."
Beck said he has always been a supporter of the military, but if "decent, honorable men" don't stand up, the military is going to "go dark."
"They'll eventually get you," Beck said. "They'll eventually get you. You've got to stand up and say, 'No, no. This isn't right.'"
