"We have a new job opening on our campaign: social media intern."

Following a federal court ruling striking down Texas’ ban on same-sex marriage, Texas State Sen. Dan Patrick, a Republican, took to Twitter on Wednesday to bash the decision.

He also committed a typo that websites are calling “epic” and asking if it’s the “greatest Twitter typo” ever.

“Marriage is between one man and one woman. Period,” Patrick tweeted.

He then promised to fight “activist judges and defend our traditional Texas values.”
