Man Attempts to Fight Elderly Couple on Bus, But Nearby Passengers Weren't Going to Let That Happen

A video posted online Monday appears to show an individual repeatedly insulting and threatening an elderly couple on a bus, before then attempting to fight the man standing for up for the woman.

In the video, the man can be heard repeatedly cursing and threatening the couple, often employing crude slurs, as they calmly sit on the bus.

"F***in bitch," the man yells at the couple. "You suck my d*** bitch. Yeah, call 911 bitch. F*** you bitch."

It was not clear what sparked the altercation, from the video.

As the individual approaches the couple and begins threatening the woman, her partner stands up to defend her. That's when the irate individual threw a punch at the elderly man.

Immediately following the punch, multiple passengers jump in to the elderly couple's defense, striking the profane man repeatedly.

"Get the f*** out of here," one passenger on the bus can be heard shouting at the man.

"This is crazy," says the person who appears to be recording.

Eventually, the passengers detain him and remove him from the bus. The video then abruptly ends.

It was not clear when or where the incident took place, but footage of the heated altercation was widely circulated on the Internet Sunday, amassing thousands of views hours after being posted to community-forum Reddit.
