Video: How Every Parent Wants Their Kids to React to Learning Mommy's Pregnant

"I can't thank you enough!"

We've seen some pretty funny responses from kids who aren't so excited about the baby mommy is having, but a new video might give kids a lesson in what mom and dad are looking for when they share news of their coming sibling.

Jacob Ouellette from Colorado filmed the reaction of his children opening plastic Easter eggs revealing an ultrasound photo inside.

"This is going to be what you've always wanted," Ouellette prefaced.

"It's a clue," the children's mother added.

Being 6 and 3 years old, the children weren't quite sure what to make of of the picture at first. Faithlyn seemed to know that it had something to do with a baby.

"It's a baby in a mommy's tummy," the mom said, helping the kids understand.

"Faithlyn, Ethan, we have something to tell you," Ouellette said. "Mommy's going to have a baby."

Then this face happened.

The little boy's eyes seemed to jump right to the mommy's stomach, while the older sister's eyes lit up. (Image source: YouTube) The little boy's eyes seemed to jump right to the mommy's stomach, while the older sister's eyes lit up. (Image source: YouTube)

Faithlyn goes on to seem distinctly more excited about this news than Ethan, which could be because she has more of an understanding about what's to come.

"Oh my gosh, I can't thank you enough!" Faithlyn said.

Ouellette did not immediately respond to TheBlaze's request for comment on his children's joyous response to the news.
