Is It an Illusion? This Will Leave You Scratching Your Head

It seems like it has to be a riddle or a magic trick.

There's no way that long pole will pass through that smaller, curved space.

And yet - with the push of a button at the Science Museum in Valencia, Spain, one display bends the mind.

This may seem impossible, but it isn't an illusion.

The longer pole follows an angled path through the shorter, curved cut in the yellow plastic window.

Seeing this might make you think of all those times you tried to fit that couch through an angled hallway or awkward door. It just seems like there is a way it should fit! And now you know, it can.
