Horrified': Woman Apologizes After Launching a Racist Tirade for the Ages

"I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, regardless of any race."

After allegedly getting ripped off by one foreigner, an Australian woman took out her frustration on another.

It wasn't pretty.

Sue Wilkins, 55, boarded a Sydney, Australia bus on Wednesday, and when none of the other passengers would give her a seat, she called the police.

She was apparently making quite the scene, as several other passengers began filming her.

When she hung up with police, Wilkins began heckling a man who was recording her — and then she turned her ire on the Asian woman sitting next to him.

"Oh look at it, isn't it sad that he can't get a regular girlfriend, he's got to get an Asian?" Wilkins mocked. "And she probably thinks he's rich."

As it turned out, the Asian woman had no connection with the man filming, a fact he attempted to stress as Wilkins continued to shout.

"What's wrong with Hong Kong?" Wilkins asked the Asian woman. "Why did you come to this country? This is our country."

Wilkins also mocked the woman's speech, referred to her using a racial slur and pulled her eyelids apart in a mockery of epicanthic folds.

Wilkins was eventually arrested for the disturbance.

Apologizing Thursday for her actions, Wilkins told Australian media outlet Ninemsn that she had been having "a rotten day" when she lashed out.

She's jobless and carrying massive debt, she said, after having been scammed out of $100,000 by a Dutch man she met on a dating website.

Still, bad day or no, she apologized for her actions, saying she was "horrified" looking at video of the incident afterwards.

"There's no excuse to rant at people like that," Wilkins said. "It's awful and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, regardless of any race."

If she's found guilty of "offensive behavior," Wilkins will face a $500 fine, Ninemsn reported.
