Dinesh D'Souza's "America" entered wide release July 2, and the filmmaker released a clip of the "slick, sprawling" epic on "The Kelly File" on Friday.
See the new clip below, which depicts Civil War battles mixed with words from Abraham Lincoln…and by the very end, John Wilkes Booth creeping up the steps of Ford's Theatre:
Deadline reported the film garnered an A+ CinemaScore result and seems to be doing "brisk business in Southern California, the Inland Empire, Florida, Arizona and Texas."
