When was the last time you heard the term "horse thief" outside of a Western?
One Fyffe, Alabama, woman seems to be bringing the term back, after she was arrested Saturday for allegedly stealing a horse and then riding it to commit further theft, WHNT-TV reported.
Police in DeKalb County, Georgia, responded to reports of a woman burglarizing a store, then showed up to find 45-year-old Christine Saunders with items from the store in her possession, police said.

They also found the horse nearby, with a Walmart bag full of Keystone Light beer tied to the saddle horn.
The horse was returned to the owner, who declined to press charges against Saunders, the Clarion-Ledger reported.
Saunders is facing charges of public intoxication and illegal possession of a prohibited beverage, with news reports saying the store owner is working with the sheriff's department on other possible charges.
