Sherman's rendition on the classic American song, coming just days after singer Aaron Lewis botched the national anthem during Game 6, was heavily skewered on Twitter.
Not sure what that was, but it wasn't God Bless America. My goodness...

Maybe they should have had the Chevy guy sing God Bless America.

If you're going to ask people to sing along with God Bless America it's probably best to stick with the basic melody.

Can't decide what was more painful, tonight's rendition of God Bless America or that MVP trophy presentation. Brutal, just embarrassing.

I'm thankful for her service, but her performance of God Bless America was a mess. She switched keys 4 times in one verse #WorldSeriesGame7
