You Have to Watch the Video to Believe the Way Hackers Responded After the FBI Blamed North Korea for Sony Breach
December 21, 2014
"FBI is the BEST in the world."
Did North Koreans hack Sony, or didn't they?
The hackers aren't saying — but they did mock American investigators with an old-school internet prank video.
On Friday, the FBI officially pinned the blame for the massive hack of Sony Pictures on North Korea.
Here's how the hackers, who call themselves the "Guardians of Peace" or "GOP," responded in a message on Pastebin, the Daily Beast reported:
By GOPThe result of investigation by FBI is so excellent that you might have seen what we were doing with your own eyes.
We congratulate you success.
FBI is the BEST in the world.
You will find the gift for FBI at the following address.

Enjoy!
The link directs to the video below, full of thumping techno music and a "You are an idiot" chorus:
North Korea has bluntly denied being behind the hack, and North Korean officials have demanded that they be allowed to participate in the investigation into the hackers' origins.
Many have speculated that the evidence linking the hack to North Korea just doesn't add up, with some saying it could have been a disgruntled former employee, not the Hermit Kingdom, that orchestrated the Sony hack.
