These Texas Miners Used Drones in Exactly the Way You'd Expect Texas Miners to Use Drones

Have drones, will film explosions.
When the miners of Silver Creek Materials in West Fort Worth, Texas, got their hands on camera-equipped drones, they did exactly what any self-respecting miners would likely do: They captured gorgeous, all-angles footage of the explosive destruction of a hilltop.

The firm, which specializes in sand, fill dirt, top soil, and compost, was blasting to uncover rock at a Texas surface mine.



The miners posted a series of explosive videos to Silver Creek's YouTube page on Wednesday.
