It's So Agonizing': Beck Fumes Over Media's Coverage of Ted Cruz Going on Obamacare

Glenn Beck was irate on Wednesday over the way the media reported that Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will be enrolling in Obamacare while running for president.

Some called Cruz a "hypocrite" because of his outspoken opposition Obamacare, but Beck said the Texas senator doesn't have a choice because of the way the law was written.

"He was on his wife's health care ... to avoid Obamacare and the cost associated with it to us, the taxpayer, as he's a federal employee," Beck's co-host Stu Burguiere explained. "She's taking a leave of absence from work as he campaigns. So he doesn't have health insurance from there anymore, so he's going to get health insurance through his job."

"As they passed Obamacare, a Republican put an amendment in there to punish the senators essentially for passing it saying, 'If you pass this, then you have to deal with it, too. You have to go on these exchanges. We're not going to give you the fancy health care plan you have now. You have to actually go there and live with the peasants on Obamacare,'" Burguiere continued.

Beck commented: "So CNN and everybody else is jumping on the bandwagon and they're like, 'He doesn't like Obamacare! But look where he's going getting his insurance -- he has to get his insurance from Obamacare!' It's so agonizing."

Burguiere compared the situation to the progressive income tax, saying he doesn't agree with it but he still pays his taxes every year.

"On the way home the speed limit is 65, and I want to drive 165," he said. "But yet I work within those speed limit laws. Why? Because I have to comply with laws that are passed. I don't get to choose the ones I don't like. This is not the Obama administration. We don't get to live like that."

"Human beings in this society have to agree, whether they agree or not with the law, they have to comply with it," he added. "That's how this society works. The only person who doesn't listen to that is the president."
