"Yall know I had an attitude."
Smiling after being pulled over for three traffic violations is probably the last thing most people would want to do, let alone pose for a jovial picture with the officers who ticketed you. But that's just what a Louisiana woman did.
In a Facebook post, Tara Tarleton admitted that she wasn't happy about it at first.
"Ok so I was pulled over; I was in the wrong, and yall know I had an attitude, lol!" she wrote. "I was asked to step to the back of the car to discuss why I was pulled over. After reluctantly walking to the back of my vehicle, mean muggin of course, the first thing the officer said to me was, SMILE! His words instantly melted everything negative in me that my past, the media, and our society had poured into my spirit. We talked, we laughed, and took advantage of a perfect photo opp! Now share that!"

The Louisiana State Police shared her photo thanking her for "the kind perspective."
